Come On!

Hello and welcome to this month's Blog Hop with Artistic Outpost in which we are showcasing "Country Life." Please visit the rest of the DT, Tracy, Shari, Lisa, for more inspiration.

I decided to use one of the jumbo tags to create a little "Country Life" scene which I did by layering various stamps from Hayride across the lower edge, watercoloring using Stampin Up Markers and masking the images before inking over the background with Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy, a little Spiced Marmalade, flicking with water and add a little light stenciling. Shading was done with Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain and a little Black Soot.

The Tractor was stamped in Black Archival and colored with Mellow Moss and Going Gray.

Black Archival was used to stamp the Basket of Apples, which were colored with Real Red, Certainly Celery and a mix of Creamy Caramel and Summer Sun (Basket). Masked off part of the sign which was stamped in Coffee Archival and sentiment in Black.

Next the Pumpkins were stamped first by inking the stamp with Sepia and then Tiger Lily Archival, colored with Pumpkin Pie and Summer Sun, masked and then the Hay Bale stamped in Tree Branch Archival. Finished off by stamping and cutting apart the sentiment and adding some Vines stamped in Olive.

Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by!

Herzlichst Sophie

This is so awesome Terry! I love when a piece tells a story and I am loving the story of this pumpkin farmer who sells hayrides and apples to make ends meet. He takes good care of his tractor and his family!! lol. Love it! hugs :)
