Welcome Baby!

My daughter asked me to make a card for her friend, who was having her first baby. They knew the baby would be a boy and the friend is also a photographer. The baby image is from "I Brake for Stamps" and I used the Artwork Marker Water Coloring technique from the TJ Newsletter. Alphabet Die, Filmstrip and Filmstrip Die are Tim Holtz. I also made the envelops with some wonderful paper I found at JoAnn's and thought it was so appropriate! The "BABY" letters in the filmstrip were cut from leftover envelop paper. It was actually a fun card to make and a challenge for me!

Friend's Birthday Card

This card was made for a friend of mine, who also loves the new Tim Holtz's Sizzix line. The background paper is TH Vintage Shabby and I outlined the large bird with a clear glitter pen. Colored the flowers and the lace trim is very old. The bird was burnished with white glitter and then stamped with a music sheet. Since my friend likes anything with music, I selected both stamps and paper with that theme. The bird cage was cut with double sided adhesive paper and burnished. Finished it off with little gems in the cage, bird and flowers.

Another Birthday and I'm Not Late!

When I first saw this Rabbit coming through the Technique Junkies group, I knew I had to use it on my husband's birthday card! The stamp is from Artistic Outpost and is their new Wonderland Collage set. I used the Artwork Marker Water Coloring technique from the Technique Junkies newsletter. This was so much fun to make!
