Blogging Friends Rock and Candy!!

What a fabulous Labor Day weekend I had!  We went to Wisconsin for our son's birthday.  It was a quick visit, as I had to leave the older pets and I have a difficult time with that!  Even with the short visit and a couple of flight mishaps, all went well and we sure did get in plenty of fun!  We did not arrive to Green Bay until after 11:30 PM and then went in search of food.  Yes we were hungry and so was my son, who waited all that time to eat with us and that boy can eat, so imagine how hungry he was!  Speaking of, we went to a place called Prime Quarter for his birthday on Saturday as he wanted to win the "Beef Eating Metal" with us there!  Yes, he did!  All 40 oz of a big steak, but not before he ate a baked potato, salad and Texas toast!  We had a blast!
On the way to the Milwaukee airport, we stopped in Oshkosh and met up with that wonderful and sweet long time Technique Junkie and Blogger friend of mine,  Vada's Blog Stamps Ink and Paper!  We did not get to spend too much time as it really was a rushed weekend and Vada was willing to drive all the way to Green Bay, but I felt we could do this much closer to where lives.  We also got to meet Bandit and her husband, Larry!

Vada also gave me a lovely surprise, which I love. She stamped the decorative thread card holder and check out those incredible crochet pieces. I can't wait to use these! Thank you so much, Vada for taking time out of your day and meeting up with us and next time it will be longer!
Upon our return to CA, I had another blogger friend encounter!  Now it took me two days to check mail upon our return and there was a fabulous envelope all the way from Germany.   Valerie of Bastelmania-Craftattack, posted me a surprise!  Love each incredible piece and I thank you so much!

I really believe that blogger friends rock - big time!  While I was also away from the blogging world, I have hit 400 followers - WOOHOO!  Thank you to all my new followers and of course those of you who have been around for the long haul!  To celebrate hitting the 400 mark, I will offer a little blog candy, so stop by tomorrow as I have a DT post that really needs to get finished!

Thank you all for stopping by and come back tomorrow!  Big thanks again to Vada and Valerie!
