Cindy Adkins is having a creative challenge! Now it can be anything your little heart desires! Creativity comes in many forms and what I like so much about this challenge, is that we will be able to see some of the other elements we put our heart and souls into. I love to cook and have been told by many that I am really good at it! Now I don't cook nearly as big or fancy as I did years ago, but still have to do something just a little extra fancier!
This was done for an appetizer lunch before the Christmas big dinner! I think I spent as much time on the snacks as the dinner! I am hoping so much to get to the point to remodel my kitchen. The tile is over 30 years old!
The little snacks were Spinach and Artichoke dip, Humus, Shrimp Cocktail, Stuffed Mushrooms, Chicken Sausage Skewers, Olives and assorted crackers and veggies. Thanks for visiting the other creative side of me and Bon Appetite!

I'll be there for the next time your creative spirit takes over the left side! lol Sure is yummy, good thing I just finished eating, or I'd be back at the table! xxoo
You are so right that cooking and putting together a beautifully-appealing plate IS a creative endeavor.
My daughter often laments that she can't sew or draw, but I remind her that she is a WONDERFUL cook and that she puts together beautiful-looking meals.
So, your appetizer plate looks fabulous...and thank you for the reminder that creativity isn't limited to handcrafts...or to items that we can sell.
Blessings,
Patti (Fill My Cup with Beauty)

Hi Terry,
I saw that you're in Southern Calif...I'm from Granada Hills...I just moved to N.O. 4 years ago.
If you go to one of those cheap cigarette places they may the boxes for you.

Cin
Ok, you are making my mouth water! I love hummus, and I also love to make it from scratch! And of course I am crazy about anything with shrimp or artichokes. I need a snack now for sure :)

Absolutely, deliciously, fantastically Creative! I think Cooking and entertaining are just as high on the creative level as inking and painting! Sometimes even more so!
I does look like a work of art. But all I want to do is eat it!
It looks so yummy!
