Make It For A Child at FSC!

It is all about children at Fashionable Stamping Challenges, so pull out your stamps and come and let the inner child in you get all inky on paper, wood, candles or whatever your little childlike heart desires.  My lovely FSC DT Sisters have more incredible inspiration for you, so skip, run or jump rope over for a peak-a-boo.  We can't wait to see your creations!  For my project, I decided to go with an Easter theme.   Please excuse my lack of photo skills, all the shine from the background and shrunk objects were a challenge!  My little bunny almost has a ghosting/shadow look from the camera :-(
For my background, I squirted out several acrylics paints colors on my craft sheet and used a paint brush to spread and mix the colors.  I then took a sheet of vanilla card stock and placed this over the painted craft sheet and used a brayer on the back of the card stock to spread the paint.  Any uncovered areas, I just picked up some paint with the brayer and applied to the paper.  Tim's embossing folder was inked with Broken China and run through the Big Shot.  Craft White ink was applied to the raised areas and then this was clear embossed.
The Painted Background
The little eggs and bunny in the basket were cut with a Spellbinders die on shrink plastic.  I bunny from Stampin Up was stamped with Timber Brown Stazon and colored on the reverse side with permanent markers and shaded around the edges.  We place him in the centered of a painted and masked egg.  The little eggs were masked and then colored with markers.  All pieces were attached to white gloss card stock.  The little birdies on the wire were cut using a Martha Stewart punch.
The Supplies
Just a little reminder to stop by my blog on March 5th for my TWO YEAR BLOGAVERSARY.   There will be a really nice prize for one of my followers.  I am always so thankful for all of you who take the time to visit and comment and support me through this amazing crafting adventure!

Have a wonderful weekend!
