Oh Sweet Daisy!

This adorable image is part of the Gatsby collection at Artistic Outpost.  Don't you just love her and I am kind of giving her a voice today!  Right now there is a very worthy cause being promoted at Artistic Outpost to help stamp out breast cancer.  Please, take the time to read about it and think about helping out!  I know I am going to pick up a couple of those shopping bags and a 25% discount for some new stamps!  WooHoo! Just click on the picture!

Gingersnap Creations GC112, is Leather, Iron and Brass!  The flower was cut from an old leather wallet from my hubby using Tim's Tattered Flowers, which I then embossed!  The center is a brass fitting of some sort and my iron would be the brad and corners!  I also embossed a Cuttlebug die and then highlighted with walnut stain and clear embossed.  I thought the framing gave it kind of an iron look!  I did some masking, because I wanted Daisy to stand out and then I added a little color to her with chalks.  I really am loving chalks!  Since my flower is handmade, we will also visit Fashionable Stamping Challenges.  We are thinking there might be enough bling to enter Simon Says Stamp and Show.
Thank you so much for stopping by and by all means, go check out the link to Artistic Outpost

What wonderful shades of brown...love the macro shot of the flower. By the way,,,your comment made me laugh about those young ballet dancers and their "pretzel" exercises....me try those exercises....as I said, I´d end up in the hospital:) but I DID do crazy stuff like that when I was young:)
