Bloggers Challenge, GM13 and SSSS a Word!!

Do you ever start out in one direction and end up on a completely different path?  It has become my own personal challenge to figure out ways to combine challenges.  Our Grungy Monday leader, Linda, has us playing with alcohol inks for week 13!  Check out Tim's video and I used eight shades (greens, blue, yellow) and Copper Mixative.  The butterflies where cut using Mr. Holtz new movers and shapers die from leftovers!  Lisa's Bloggers Challenge is "Things with Wings" and I thought something carefree and flighty was just perfect for my Flapper Girl!  Since this gorgeous "Flapper Fashions" set from Artistic Outpost landed, I have so wanted to play!  I am also entering Artistic Outpost's June Referral ProgramSimon Says Stamp and Show a Word and we have a few!
We first started out with a card and had everything cut and laid out and just did not like it!  Really did not!  Then I saw a precut black tag and life became a little happier!  We colored her skirt with soft green chalks and her shoes with Spica Sand glitter pen.  Embossed the oval frame with Tim's Damask folder. Black was highlighted using Opalite Winter Rust, other inks, Stazon Timber Brown, Distress Vintage Photo, Palette Noir Black (worked best on the copper paper).

Hope you all are having a wonderful week and doing something fun!  Thank you for taking the time to visit.

Terry this is so cool! Wow I love the background with the green inks - it's a great looking piece - has a real "rusty" feel - like a "patina" look! Excellent!

Oh Terry it is just so good to see you creating and posting on your Blog.
Well I love this to pieces. After all, I was a Flapper in a previous life so always drawn to artwork celebrating those wonderful women and this era. I do have my eyes on this set along with the Great Gatsby set (one of my all time favourite books).
Fabulous art.
