For fun I also played with an adorable Peacock and feather stamp from I Brake For Stamps. I picked this and the larger version up quite some time ago. Again you can't see all the different colors of shimmer. These will be finished and given to my G-Daughter for bookmarks and hopefully she wears them out!!! The colors are prettier than on the camera and there is some pretty blue in there. I don't know if it is my camera or me, but I can't quite seem to capture the true colors. We also used a technique called "Antique Glimmers" from The Technique Junkies.
Thank you for visiting and have a wonderfully creative week!

Your hand tag is very striking Terry and I like the red accents. I haven't tried this technique yet, but will bear in mind what you said about the fine lines.
The bookmarks look lovely too - bet she'll love them!
Cool tags Terry! Love the eye in the hand!!
Love all the work but as I am a BookWorm I particularly love the bookmarks. Gorgeous feather stamp. Lynne M

Wow,I love these. I am absolutely no good at distressing and I really envy your talent. Maybe I'd better buy that book.

Hiya Terry, here's Terry again hehehe....I just love your tag, so mysterious and so pretty, thanks for joining us at Simon Says Stamp and Show with your wonderfull creation. Hugs Terry xxxx
Your tags are beautiful Terry!! I haven't even looked at the perfect distress technique yet, but I love how your tag turned out and the bookmarks also!!!
I'm loving your tags! The greens are so velvety, and the red gem is perfect. And I think I'll need to hunt down the larger feather...yup, it needs to get added to my other feathers (not that you've seen them in any challenges...yet!)
I love the "eye" in "hand" tag! great composition and event though we don't see the perfect pearls a lot (difficult to photograph) the tag is great!
Ooh very cool! I love these!
Thanks so much for entering the Simon Says Stamp & Show Challenge!!!

Love your tags especially the first one .
Marilyn
Oh I just love how you stamped the eye in the hand. Very out there! Love the colors too!
Totally fabulous tag Terry, love the stamp and great colours.

Outstanding work again! I love the peacocks, which I actually first saw as a woman with a large bustle and flowing skirts (people probably think I do a lot of great drugs, but no, it's only my strange brain).
And your eye-in-the-hand tag is wonderful! The "Art is a Shadow" phrase also seems excellent since the eye-in-the-hand often represents the warding off of evil!
EXTRA cool points for the artist who scares away evil with her creative thoughts!
Terry, these are fabulous!!! I love how you designed the palm reader tag-- the colors are great, and the Perfect Distress really gave it a mystical feel! The little ticket is a great touch, too.
The technique worked beautifully with the peacock feather stamp as well, and these will make great bookmarks. I know what you mean about the colors always looking different on screen, but these really do look wonderful in the photos, and if they're even better in real life, then.. WOW!
