This week I have had four different projects going on and someday I will be organized enough to work on one thing at a time! What happens is that I get an idea for one and go to it, before I have finished with the previous! Oh well, I don't think that will change and that is OK! This is my take on Tim's 12 Tags of 2012 - NOVEMBER and I am also linking this to the Inspiration Journal's, THANKFUL.
For the tag image, I used the flower branches from Tim's Spring Sprung stamp set. Since I do not have the stamps Tim used, for the sentiment on the side, I used his embossing folder and kind of did my own diffuser system to just have "Blessings." The beautiful leaves were gifted to me by my sweet friend, Vada. I thought these were just perfect for the corner. I did cut the acorns and branches from the Sizzlits strip and these were covered with Rock Candy Crackle (after inking) or clear embossing powder. The back panel was inked, embossed and then highlighted.
Well there are many blessings in our lives to be thankful for and this "Thanksgiving," I am going to start counting those blessings. I am thankful for all of you who take the time to stop by and commit, as the comments really lift my spirit! Thank you!

Falling for Fall!
My Fall Feature is doing triple time, but each challenge is so connected! Frilly and Funkie's current challenge is Fall into Fall, using the color palette of Fall, such as Brown, Orange, Olive, Rust, Cranberry, Harvest Gold. You could be the winner of a $25 gift certificate to The Funkie Junkie Boutique or receive a Winners Badge! And as luck would find it, The Funkie Junkie Boutique is also this week's sponsor of the Compendium of Curiosities 2 challenge #22, in which there is another chance to win a $25 gift certificate to this lovely boutique! This week the lovely Linda instructed us to open our books to page 57, Riveted Patchwork. Now as luck would have it, this challenge also fits in quite well with Tim's 12 Tags of 2012, September! Got to love how this worked out! Linking this up to Saturday's I Spy at Sizzix!
You know the rules, we cannot tell you how the technique is done. Buy the book! What I can tell you is this! For the leaves, I used Tim's dictionary paper and inked them up, edged with Rusty Hinge and then clear embossed. The little letters behind the filmstrip are also from the Lost and Found paper. I pushed the larger gear and time piece into Lemon Squeeze ink and then clear embossed for a little touch of gold! The start of Fall numbers were cut from chipboard using my Cargo Numbers die, inked with LS and then clear embossed. The outer tag was distressed with Rusty Hinge and then I sprinkled on gold embossing powder, which collected nicely in areas and still leaving some rust shinning through. I really liked that!
Come on and join in! It was great fun working on this tag, well except for the foil tape peeling! Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting! Have a wonderful finish to this week!
