I realized I have not blogged in awhile, so thought I should explain a little as to why I have been MIA. Last Saturday one of my younger brothers unexpected passed away and I have never been a person who deals with death very well. In fact I have only started to get my life and house back in order after the tragic loss of my Dad almost six years ago.
Normally this hobby of ours has been my refuge, but right now I am not finding comfort in that and sure hope I will soon. We started working on this very neglected house, before my brother's passing and having started, I need to put more of my efforts into finishing. I hope to find a balance. With being busy this week and with a paint contractor starting to paint the exterior of our house next week, I have been moving things around and my mind will be occupied on that, which is actually a good thing! I really hope to get a little crafty after that, because I do believe it is such great therapy.
Anyway I wanted to let my followers know what is going on and I will be visiting soon and when I take time to sit in front of the computer. I miss all of you and your lovely art. Thank you for your understanding. Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the people in your life.
