Kathy and Donna's 12 Tags of Christmas from Day One and SSSS Your Newest Stamp!

Blogging friends Donna of Paper Crow and Dragonflies and Kathy of Inkin' it Up have started a fun and no stress challenge.  As it turns out, Kathy challenged Donna who also made the same request of Kathy.  Donna and Kathy asked me to join them in the fun and I could not resist, because I have never participated in any of Tim's 12 Tags of Christmas!  Now I made my tag yesterday and had no power, but I was glad that I had printed out Tim's instructions.  Did not mean to case "Donna's" 25 embellishment and was quite shocked to see that this AM, but I was not going to remove a very well attached fragment!  I think it took me as long to add the tinsel around the fragment as the background!  This was fun to do and a great way to learn techniques, so come and play as this is open to everyone!  Thanks Donna and Kathy for a year of fun!
Simon Says Stamp and Show has a challenge to use your "Newest Stamp.s" This may be old to some of you, but Tim Holtz Santa set is new and so is the music stamp from Stampendous, so we will be entering this there. 

Important update:  Our power was shut off in very frigid conditions for 9 hours and I brought my Fred (bird) and Molly (Dal) in my craft room with me, because that is the warmest room.  Both were very well behaved, while I worked on this and found my missing Scrolls Work stamp and acrylic block.  Now I am still missing a Vintage Photo ink pad, but that is an easy and less expensive fix!  I am still loving this i-Rock tool and how wonderful that I did not need electricity to use it!

    Hi Terry, you certainly made good use of the time without power - your room guests must have been a great source of inspiration too - bet they really enjoyed being in your craft room with you!

    Great job on it Terri! Especially without power! I love the bling from your I-Rock also. I bought one of those when they first came out and used it once, beter get that out so I see it and get using it. It adds a lot! Thanks for playing and hope to see you next week for Day 2, 2007.

    Hi Terry! Glad you survived without power. Ours goes out regularly and the only thing I miss is the computer. I love your tag. No worries about anything being the same.Thank you for joining in!! I will check out the SSSS as I have used a new stamp for the CCC. See You for tag 2.

    Most of us probably don't realize how great it is to have electricity! Especially in winter!

    Replying to your comment on my blog, most people think our dog is a great dane mix cause of his size!
    But it's all that St. Bernard in him!!

    you have your priorities strait, having a heated craftroom that you can work in with no power (I have a chilly dark corner of the bacement LOL) I can't compalin cuz it is my favorite place to be! great tag, happy new year!

    This is a fab tag....heck some of us cannot even create such nice things when the elctricity is ON!!!
    I am back in civilization now too....was up in the Alps in a cabin...I love the mountains!!! But it is soooo nice to be home:)
    with electricity,,,which I know you can relate to , right!!!

    oh my goodness! sounds like it's cold there where you are. Love the tag, I have not yet made tags but I loved all of Tim Holtz tags. The techniques he used were awesome.

    The fringe around it makes it look so nice.
