This challenge combo is for Studio L3 and Simon Says Stamp and Show. Our "Leader of the Pack" (that would be Linda) has taken us to page 36 of the Compendium of Curiosities and we are doing "Blended Batik." Now SSSS has us with the theme of "Anything... Lord Tim of Holtz" inspired. So you can see why I thought I would make this a double duty combo take! The only thing not "Tim" would be the pearls, button and ribbon. The sentiment is a actual magnet. These were made with someone in mind who is currently going through her own challenge. It was my hope to encourage some positive thought. I hope it works in more ways than one!
It is always my pleasure to have you visit and comment on my blog. And a huge thank you to those who decide to follow. It is always so exciting to see a new face!

Terry, what a beautiful, inspiring work of art! You know, I've always thought I needed to use fairly intense colors for this technique, but thanks to you, I see that I was wrong about that. The soft tones look AMAZING, and the blended batik is just perfect. How clever to create a magnet, and I know this piece will mean so much to its recipient.
