Cupid Strikes Again!

I always look forward to Monday and what new adventure Linda will take us on!  For Grungy Monday #33, we are revisiting Tim's August 2008 Technique Challenge.  For all the details, click the link and come play along!  This will also be linked up to Simon Says Stamp and Show Anything But a Card and Gingersnap Creations GC135 Use Your Favorite Paper.
For my large fragment, Red Pepper, Cranberry, Latte and Pitch Black alcohol inks were used.  The stamped image is from the new Valentine's Silhouettes.  Tim's movers and shaper hearts were cut with shrinky dinks, colored with red alcohol inks, backed with white paper and edged with black marker.  The word stick was edged with red marker and I rubbed in red Stickles to highlight the "Love."  The metal heart charm was colored with red alcohol ink and then I marked the outer edge with black marker.  The frame was cut using my Grand Nesties, embossed with Tim's Chakerboard and then clear embossed for added interest.  Cut some photo corners for the fragment.  The background paper is from Tim's Seasonal Stash.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous rest of the week!

  35. How did I miss this one? Your colors are gorgeous with that fragment. Cranberry is one of my fave alcohol inks. And Cupid was a good one to include; turned out lovely.
Btw, remember I told you we had to get a new (to us) car? Well last night I dropped the keys in the trunk w/my groceries & locked them in w/no extra key! Had to call roadside service who worked for 2 hrs & no luck. Getting the door open triggered an alarm & shut down the electricals. Even disconnecting the battery didn't help. The Kia dealer said we'd have to have keys cut in Korea or a broken lock. Found a guy who came out this morning got it opened w/no damage & cut me a 2nd key! And yes...there was ice cream in the trunk! Ha! Thankfully I can hopefully craft later today...I need it!
