Tim's 12 Tags of Christmas 2011 - Day Six

You absolutely have my permission to laugh, because I have found this experience quite amusing!  For all the details visit Mr. Holtz and learn about foil paper and paint dabbers.  Will be linking this to Inspiration  Emporium.
The paint dabbers I have and used are white, gold, silver and copper.  For the other colors, I used my enormous collection of acrylic paints, green, brown and red.  Followed the instructions, sanded lightly and then covered with the Walnut Stain, which kind of gave my whites a dirty look, which of course I did not notice until I added the clear embossing powder.  Now I wanted my whites to be white, so I decided to take a VersaMark embossing pen and cover the dirty white areas and then embossed with white EP.  So that was done.  Then I decided I wanted my tree to have a little more of a festive appearance, so I covered again with the pen and added a coating of a previous mix I made.  So this is what I did for the last six hours and I am not joking about that.  Well I did take about an hour off for lunch and coffee!  You should see that room, because I have not really cleaned it up the last couple of days!  Maybe tonight, as my DH is off at a class!

    I didn't laugh! Because it's stunning! I love your tag! I spend my whole evening on mine. I made two tags, but still it was a lot of work for just one tag!

    Fabulous- I cannot wait to try this- and will keep your tips for touching up the tag in my back pocket for whan I try mine! I love the layout and the deer up on the top!

    It looks Awesome Terry, six hours? Oh My, Well perfection takes time! LOL. I did mine in about an hour, I'm doing a mass post again tomorrow!

    I spent the rest of my day cleaning my studio!!! hahahahahah

    I have to say I am laughing at the six hours.. That sounds like something that would happen to me.. And believe me I have spent that much time and longer on a project. It takes me an hour to pick out paper. Your tag is gorgeous my friend. I think you did Tim proud..

    I just had to stop and have a look thru all of your Tim tags. They are withour exception, all awesome. I honestly could not pick a fav out of all of them. Tims tags are so fun to do. :)

    I am not laughing at all (despite being the rude person who laughed at the spider). It is absolutely stunning. I didn't like Tim's one but there have been some super alternative versions being made. I can believe it took 6 hours and lots of mess, well done,

    I DID not laugh!
    I also thought this was a tough one, as I don't really like the glossiness of the metaltape, but yours one turned out so beautiful!
    It also took me a looooot of time to finish.....after finishing a tag, I always have to laugh at my workdesk... it always is a mess!
