Double Duty Tag

I decided to enter this tag for two challenges! For the first challenge at Studio L3, the lovely Linda has taken us to page 43 of the "Compendium of Curiosities," week five!! Louise at Tag Tuesday has us with the theme of "Hearts," Challenge #59. This is my first time working with Distress EP and although I like that there is no shine, I am not sure that I would use it again for sentiments. I wanted kind of a rainbow effect, so used five different colors of EP and do like how that came out. Just wish the lettering would have held onto more crystals! This was quite enjoyable to work with a new product and come up with a combined design for two challenges! Fun, Fun, Fun!

The background music stamp is from Impression Obsession. I die cut and embossed the heart and wings using Tim's new Sizzix line and added pearls. Thanks for popping by and commenting, which I always do appreciate. Have a fantastic weekend!

  8. Terry, I love this tag! I see what you mean about the text, but I actually think the effect is perfect for the sentiment. Words like "Wishes" and "magic" really call for an ethereal look, and that's exactly what you have here. It couldn't be more perfect! And I LOVE the rainbow you created with the Distress Powder.

This is wonderful! So are you. ♥
