Fashionable Steampunk!

Gingersnap Creations GC100 has us using "Gears, Cogs and Watch Bits." I knew I would have to use some of the G-45 paper I have been saving for a rainy day, which could hang around a long time here!  Voila Inks at Bella Creations wants us to use "Spray Inks" of any type and my choice was Glimmer Mists and there has to be a butterfly.  This tag will also go to Fashionable Stamping Challenges, a new challenge blog for us stampers, and of course Simon Stay Stamp and Show a Tag!
Now I did have my granddaughter in mind while creating this as she let me know she needed another bookmark!  Sadly you can't really seem the shimmer, but it is there.  I first inked with Distress Inks and then sprayed with GLimmer Mists.  The tag was then embossed with a large Cuttlebug folder and highlighted.  Cut some cogs from Tim Holtz line. The brown wing area on the dressform is highlighted with Spica gold pen.  Stamped sentiment is from Stampin Up and watch bits from an earlier eBay hunt!

    I'm quite certain your granddaughter doesn't need another bookmark.... but your blog pal sure does! Holy Moley, Terry, this is STUNNING. I've just printed it out on a full sheet of printer paper to ogle it further. Haven't seen anyone use the on-the-edge gears so well... I love the way you have it hanging off with all the other bits adorning the border. Not to mention the lady herself and the embossed background... love it!
